Fashion and architecture often intersect, with OMA/AMO designing runways for Prada, and architects, such as Zaha Hadid, designing swimwear and shoes. This time, we’ve rounded up four designers who have created jewelry lines inspired by the built world around them. Paris-based architect Diego Delgado-Elias has designed these silver rings, which are inspired by tools architects use to design buildings: a set square, a protector, a level, and an architectural scale. The rings are handcrafted in brushed silver and finished using a combination of 3D printing and laser cutting methods. Find his designs on his website.
Yumi Endo of CUT studio, is a designer who believes in the intersection of design and technology. Her studio’s designs are inspired by architectural details found not only in New York City where her office is located, but also in cities where she has previously lived.
